SITE RENTAL

• Site rental fees on DEL MAR  are dependant on plot size, and may be made in 4 payments.100m2 - 2,890 euros per year, 120m2 – 3,140 euros, 150m2 – 3440 euros. 
• Water is 80 euros per year and electricity is metered if here mainly spring/summer it is unlikely to exceed the minimum annual charge of 70 euros. Insurance is available from the office at 150 euros per year.
• Tourist tax of 0.44 euros a day (approx 3 euros per person per week) is payable by anyone over 13 years of age from April till September, while the home is occupied. This applies to all tourist accommodation in the area.
• Your site fees may be recouped, if you wish, by letting the Park rent the homes for you during July and August at a commission of 30%. Or you may find your own clients. Rental rates in peak season are 720-940 euros per week. 
• Pets are allowed on site so you may bring Fido with you!

CAMPING DEL MAR is situated on the Coast Rd at Plage Nord, Argeles-sur-Mer, across the road, just 500 metres from the blue-flag sandy beach.   MAGNIFICENT SWIMMING POOL which is open from June till September, as is the On-site Shop and Restaurant. Launderette, children’s play area, boules,  tennis and basketball courts open all year. There is main drainage and electricity and calor gas bottles available to purchase on site to run your hot water and cooking supply.  Gas barbecues are allowed.

SPECIAL VIEWING OFFER! 25 euros per night PER HOME or 160 euros per week, 250 eu for 2 weeks, 325 eu for 3 weeks and 400 eu per month. Out of season dates as offered only. Does not apply June, July,  August.

You may arrive any day except Sunday, sorry, no arrivals after 5pm Perpignan flight. If arriving on a later flight you may book a B&B and come in next day.

The park is planted with majestic pines with red squirrels (local ones are browny/black) searching for nuts, glorious, many hued oleander bushes, waving palm trees, aloe vera and other exotic Mediterranean plants. You may also hear a barn owl calling at night.

Camping Le Clos du Thym is nearer to the village. A quiet, friendly site surrounded by fields with horses grazing in the background. It has a very laid back and French ambience.  There is a pool, childrens play area, snack bar in high season, boules area and laundrette facilities.

For those preferring a quieter, out of season stay, take a stroll into Argeles village, 10-15 minutes, for a coffee and croissants, explore the local lanes by cycle or visit the local twice weekly market. ABOUT THE REGION   This region boasts approximately 300 days of sunshine each year. The Pyrenees and the revered Mount Canigou tower as a backdrop to the resort’s sandy beaches. About one and a half hours drive takes you up to the ski resorts. Every form of water sport is to be found here. Argeles has a magnificent port and is magical at night for al fresco eating or just watching the world go by! If you prefer a more active life-style drive up into the foothills of the Pyrenees for rambling, para-gliding, horse riding etc. There is an excellent golf course at St Cyprien less than 15 minutes drive away.  Visit Ceret's  modern art museum, or the famous Salvador Dali museum at Figueres- less than an hour’s drive. There are several spa villages in the area, and  the glorious Artists' Village of Collioure which is the next village down. Drive or cycle along the cliff path to take in the stunning views.
